This Indonesia!

Almost people in my family are people that work in education. Maybe, because of that, I interest to be a teacher. For me, to be a teacher, not only teach people about something, but also become someone who could inspire another. Life will be meaningful if we can helpful for another. Teacher in Indonesian means Guru. It’s from Sanskerta that means “weight”. We could see that, actually to be a teacher is not easy. We are become someone who followed by our student. 

Since many times ago, education had a important part to develop people. In this case, Indonesia had a long story. We still remember the story of Ki Hajar Dewantara, Kartini, KH Ahmad Dahlan, and now the history is still continue. Our country has a lot of people as teacher who are fighting at each their place, and many teachers are fighting alone without accommodation from the government.

Below, I take it from @1000_guru, a twitter account which post about the fight of teacher in some removed places of Indonesia. He is Mr. Sefnat Tabun, teacher in Timor Island, East Nusa Tenggara. Before he was given a motorcycle, he walked about 28 km everyday to teach children in a elementary school of Timor.  

This is our country. This is Indonesia. Beside of Mr. Sefnat Tabun, there are many officials that are happy with a new Mercedes.
